10/08/2009 - Showing-off Newcastle Gateshead
August will be spent on the ideal commission - photographing Newcastle and Gateshead to produce a portfolio of images that "show off the area". The work is for the newly-created city development company 1NG.
The main focus is the iconic old and new architecture, and the way they sit together. The aim is to present the area as a cool European city. As such, I'll be looking for those interesting angles and viewpoints that really get to the bottom of what Newcastle Gateshead is about, and not just sticking to the standard views. The brief includes producing some panoramic shots of the city skylines.
